  • Melissa (Hinze) Krause is planning to go on a Medical Mission trip to Haiti from March 11 thru March 21. She will be a part of the LCMS World Relief mission. Anyone who would like to offer support to Melissa is encouraged to put donations in an envelope labeled with Melissa’s name and either dropped in the collection plate or brought to the church office. Checks should be made payable to St. Paul Lutheran Church. Any questions can be directed to Melissa at

  • Please sign up at the information desk for your opportunity to serve coffee and snack prior to the alternative service. Any inquiries see Deanne DeSmidt.
     

  • General Synod will meet in Orange City, Iowa June 10th – 15th. We are in need of an Elder delegate to attend. Any elder, past or present, willing to attend please contact Pastor Kent.
     

  • VBS – We’re looking for fresh faces on our VBS committee. Being on the committee involves selecting a program and working with teachers to prepare for the week. This is a great outreach to the families of our communities! Please consider – contact the church office if interested.
     

  • Attn. all youth! There are lost and found items from all our years going to Silverbirch and Fort Wilderness on the coat rack in the B.O.S. They will be there until Wednesday March 10 and then any remaining items will be donated to the Salvation Army. Please check to see if any of your things are there.
     

  • A reminder to those filling out Camp Manitoqua forms. Be sure to drop your forms off in the office for additional processing. If you plan to incorporate the Horse Camp into your camping experience register ASAP. We will be sending those in as they come in – it may fill in quickly.
     

  • Sheboygan Christian School (K-8) is hosting 2-Man Best Ball Golf Outing at the Irish Course at Whistling Straits. Entry fee is $200 per team – includes golf, cart, and meal. To register contact Kurt Davis at (920)207-4829, kdavis@abacusarchitects.net

  • First and Faith Annual Youth Soup & Salad Supper fundraiser - missions fundraiser will be on Monday March 8th serving from 4:30-6:30 pm in Rosemary Hall.
     
  • Our Home Christian Ministries (OHCM) - asking for input on the needs for community families in the next few years. A session has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 9th at 6:30 pm. at the Oostburg Civic Center. Any question contact Lori Kramer at OHCM (Tuesdays or Thursdays) at 564-6933.
     
  • Congregational Life - will meet Tuesday March 9th at 7:00pm.
     
  • Discipleship - will meet Thursday March 11th at 6:30pm.
     
  • Respect Life Rally - Sunday March 14th at 1:30pm. at
    Sheboygan North High. The speaker is Michael Clancy, a
    photojournalist.
     
  • Property meeting - March 15th at 6:00pm.
     
  • Sheboygan County Christian High School open house - open house will be Monday March 15th. Refreshments at 6:30pm. with sessions & tours beginning at 7:00pm.
     
  • The public is invited - join Christian High’s interdisciplinary look at the Dead Sea Scrolls on Monday, March 15th during regular school hours free of charge. A Mediterranean-style lunch will be available for a small fee. There is room for about 40 participants. Call the school office at 458-9981 to RSVP.
     
  • Book Club returns! - Those interested in a fascinating read – The Shack by Wm Paul Young - deals with the timeless question: Where is God in this world full of pain? Those interested in the book can contact the public library to request a copy. We plan to meet Tuesday evening, March 16th at 7:00pm.
     
  • Primetimers Dinner - drama to follow. Thursday March 18th at 6:00pm. See your First’s Edition. Call the church office for reservations by Monday March 15th.
     
  • Sr. High Bowling at Odyssey Funzone! - Friday March 19th. Cost is $8. If you need a ride meet at First Church at 9:30pm. We will be bowling from 10:00pm to midnight.
     
  • Jr. High Bowling at Odyssey Funzone! - Saturday March 20th. Cost is $8. Meet here at First Church at 2:00pm, arriving back here at 5:00pm. Bring permission slip with you.
     
  • Adult elective Sunday School class - “Your Divine Design” meeting in room 116B in the lower level. How do I discover my spiritual gifts and then use them effectively in my church? Start March 21st.
     
  • Top female music artist Natalie Grant - performing at the Weill Center on March 25th at 7:00pm along with Phil Stacey and Britt Nicole. Last week’s bulletin listed this event in February by error. See insert for more information.
     
  • Jr. & Sr. High Bucks Game! - Saturday April 10th. Cost is $30. Permission slips and money due on Sunday March 21st.
     
  • Camp Manitoqua Work Day - Saturday April 24th. Sign up at the information counter. Detail in next First Edition.
     
  • Sheboygan County Christian High School - will have a service day on Wednesday April 28th. They would like to serve the elderly and shut-ins by doing yard work, moving, painting etc. If you would like them to help you please call Wayne Dykstra at 458-9981.
     
  • The Work Crew will be going to The Other Way for their 20th year - They are planning their trip for Wednesday May 12th. If you are interested in going along, please contact Lloyd TerMaat or Larry TenPas. New volunteers are needed.
     
  • Attn: Sr Highers - Mark your calendars now for our trip to summer camp. Dates: July 19th-24th. More details to come.
